PARK CITY BEGINS 2012 WITH LITTLE SNOW BUT GREAT SKIING

It takes great resorts to plan ahead when mother nature shows no signs of cooperating in the weather department.  Snow making made Christmas 2011 memorable for visitors and 2nd home owners.  The warm weather and sun filled skies made skiing and recreating fun and user friendly.  Most think we are known for our dry powder but we are also known for providing good skiing and winter activities during unusual weather patterns.  If you ever meet a snowcat operator or snow making operator, give them a thumbs up for their masterful work.

Park City is again gearing up for the Sundance Film Festival, a world renown event that brings great movies and visitors to our area for two weeks of unrivaled exposure to the best independent films in the industry.  This is also a great time to ski since many film goers cannot find the energy to ski during the day and see movies all night.

There is an uptick in real estate the past 6 months in our area with transactions increasing but values still slipping.  The best news for Sellers is that inventory is decreasing which may help their home values in the coming months.  It is still a Buyer's market with values either near or at the bottom.  The 2011 year summary will be posted on this web site the end of January so you can see for yourself how we are doing.

I invite you to visit Park City this winter for any reason and would love to buy you a cup of coffee in  Deer Valley Grocery Cafe adjacent to my office and the Keller Williams Real Estate Gallery. It is still the best food in town.

Contact me anytime by phone or email and I'll guide you through a great Park City vacation and real estate experience.
